Why affordable doesn't have to mean cheap
Dhaka business owners deserve a real website, not a recycled template with their logo dropped in
Every week, someone who went looking for affordable website design in Dhaka sends me screenshots. They show a Tk 7,000 website a small business owner in Dhanmondi or Mirpur paid for last year. It has the same Bootstrap layout, the same stock photo of a smiling foreign woman in a headset, and the same broken contact form. They thought they were being smart with money. In fact they paid twice: once for the template, and again to me to fix it.
Affordable website design in Dhaka has a real floor, and I won't pretend otherwise. I price from 50,000 BDT for a reason. Below that, nobody can pay for a senior designer's time, proper hosting setup and a mobile-first layout. That price also covers bKash or Nagad setup if you need it, and a contact form that actually sends leads to your email.
Anyone quoting Tk 10,000 for a business website is cutting a corner somewhere. They are using a pirated theme, copying another client's site, or planning to disappear after taking your advance.
Here is what I do differently. I take fewer projects, I design and build each one myself, and I charge a price that is fair to both of us. The 50,000 BDT starter tier covers a clean five-page business website on a fast platform. It is built for mobile, because that is how 80% of your customers will see it.
The 90,000 and 1,50,000 BDT tiers add more pages, custom design elements, basic SEO setup and integrations. Custom builds start at 3,00,000 BDT, and we only go there if you actually need it.
I have been doing this for about five years. No junior will ghost-design your homepage. No project manager will forward your emails three times before someone replies. You message me on WhatsApp, and you get me. That is the trade. It costs a bit more than the Tk 8,000 sellers and far less than the Gulshan agencies. And you get the senior brain on your project.
