Cafe Website Development in Dhaka

This is cafe website development in Dhaka done from scratch and hand-coded by one senior developer. You get a mobile-first menu and table reservations. Google Maps actually opens the right gully. bKash or Nagad is ready for advance bookings. Pricing starts at 50,000 BDT, and you approve the design before development begins.

One senior developer. About 5 years of work. 50% advance, 50% on launch. Design-approval guarantee before a single line of code is written.

About the developer behind it

Why solo development beats handing your Dhaka cafe to an agency

Good cafe website development in Dhaka starts with what owners really need. Most cafe owners here don't need a 12-page marketing site. They need a phone-friendly menu that loads on 4G in Banani traffic. They need a 'Reserve a Table' button that actually emails the manager. And they need a Google Maps link that drops the pin on the right side of the road in Dhanmondi 27.

Agencies in Dhaka tend to over-engineer the first part and forget the rest. That gap is what I build for.

I'm RH Fardin, a solo website designer and developer. I have about five years of building for restaurants, cafes, salons and local shops. I personally design, code and launch every cafe website I ship in Dhaka. No junior pushes your menu into a recycled WordPress theme. No project manager who has never sat in a cafe at 7pm on a Friday wonders why nobody is walking in.

In practice, you talk to the person writing the code. Say you tell me 'the Bangla menu items are breaking on iPhone'. I am the one fixing it that evening. When you call to add a new espresso blend or a Ramadan iftar package, I make the change. There is no ticket queue in another office.

For most cafes in Dhaka, that direct line matters a lot. It is the difference between a website that grows with the business and one that quietly rots six months after launch.

I'm open about price. 50,000 BDT is the floor. The three production tiers are 50,000, 90,000 and 1,50,000 BDT, and fully custom builds start at 3,00,000 BDT. Terms are 50% advance and 50% on launch. You also get a design-approval guarantee. You sign off on the visual design before development starts, so there are no surprises at handover.

What's included

What you get with a cafe site built specifically for Dhaka

Here are six things I build into every cafe website project in Dhaka. They fit anything from a single Gulshan outlet to a chain spread across Dhanmondi, Bashundhara and Uttara.

01

Menu That Loads

You get a light menu page that opens fast on Robi or GP 4G inside Bashundhara City. It has categories, prices in BDT and properly compressed photos. A 'Call to Order' button dials the kitchen in one tap.

02

Table Reservations

A simple booking form emails the cafe and sends the manager an SMS. Staff can confirm in two taps from their phone. There is no fancy dashboard to learn.

03

bKash & Nagad Ready

Need to take a 500 BDT advance for a private booking or a birthday setup? I set up bKash Personal or Merchant, or Nagad, with a clear receipt page. Confirmations don't get lost in DMs.

04

Maps Done Right

Most Dhaka cafe sites paste a generic embed, and the pin lands on the wrong building. I check the pin against Pathao and Uber routes. That way, customers and riders actually arrive at your door.

05

Bangla + English

Menu items, hero copy and buttons are set up cleanly in both Bangla and English, without the layout breaking. This matters for cafes that pull both expat and local crowds.

06

Instagram-Friendly

I set up OG tags, share images and clean URLs. When food bloggers paste your link in a story or a Facebook group, it shows the right cover image, not a broken thumbnail.

In focus

What actually drives a Dhaka cafe customer to walk in

Cafe buying in Dhaka is almost all mobile, and almost all impulse. Someone scrolls Instagram and sees a flat white at a Gulshan or Banani spot. Within thirty seconds, they tap the location, call the cafe or move on. Maybe your website takes more than three seconds to load on 4G. Maybe your menu is a PDF, or the address page doesn't open Google Maps directly. Then you have lost that customer.

I build cafe websites in Dhaka with this exact thirty-second window in mind. The homepage, the menu and the 'Find Us' page are the three things I obsess over, in that order.

The other thing Dhaka cafe owners underestimate is the rider economy. Foodpanda, Pathao Food and HungryNaki riders need a pickup address that loads in their navigation app on the first try. If a rider has to call your cafe twice to find the gate, your packing time creeps up and your rating drops.

So beyond the customer-facing site, I make the pickup pin and parking instructions crystal clear. Often this is a small 'For Delivery Riders' section linked from the footer. It's a small detail. But it's the difference between a 4.6 and a 4.9 on the rider apps that bring you 40% of your weekday orders.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

Here are honest answers to the questions Dhaka cafe owners actually ask before hiring me.

Cafe website koto taka? What does a Dhaka cafe website cost with you?

Pricing starts at 50,000 BDT for a clean single-outlet cafe site with a menu, reservations and Maps. The 90,000 BDT tier adds bKash or Nagad advance booking and a small CMS, so you can edit the menu yourself. The 1,50,000 BDT tier is for multi-outlet cafes or sites that need a small online order system. Fully custom builds, like a loyalty programme or kitchen-display integration, start at 3,00,000 BDT. Payment is 50% advance and 50% on launch.

Can my staff update the menu and daily specials themselves after launch?

Yes. From the 90,000 BDT tier up, you get a simple admin panel. Any staff member can change prices, mark items as 'out today', upload new photos and post weekly specials. I record a short Bangla walkthrough video for your team, so training takes under twenty minutes.

Do you set up the cafe site to take bKash or Nagad advance for table bookings?

Yes. Most Dhaka cafes I build for use bKash Personal or Merchant. They take 500 to 1,000 BDT advances on Friday and Saturday bookings and birthday setups. I set up the payment and build a clean receipt page. The site emails both the customer and the cafe automatically, so no confirmation falls through the cracks.

We have outlets in Dhanmondi and Bashundhara. Can you handle a multi-location cafe site?

Yes, that's the 1,50,000 BDT tier. Each outlet gets its own location page with a checked Maps pin and opening hours. It also gets its own menu if it differs, a reservation form and an outlet phone number. The homepage sends each visitor to the nearest outlet by area. So Banani customers don't book a Dhanmondi table by mistake.

How long does it take to launch a cafe website in Dhaka from scratch?

A single-outlet cafe site at the 50,000 BDT tier usually launches in 2 to 3 weeks from advance payment. The 90,000 BDT tier with a CMS and payments takes 3 to 4 weeks. Multi-outlet builds run 5 to 6 weeks. The first week is design. You must approve the design in writing before I move to development. That's the design-approval guarantee.

Will the site actually show up on Google when someone searches 'cafe near me in Dhanmondi' or my cafe's name?

For brand searches, yes, almost right away. At launch, I set up title tags, meta descriptions and schema markup (LocalBusiness, Menu, Restaurant). I also submit the sitemap to Google Search Console. Generic 'cafe near me' rankings depend on your Google Business Profile, reviews and ongoing local SEO. I can advise on that, but it isn't in the build price. I'll set the foundation right, so any SEO work you do later actually builds up.
